Was at the bro in law's over the xmas hols and finally got to see the type r he bought last year. Apparently she won SI car of the show in 2008 so I'm sure some of you will recognise her. Bought from an enthusiast in Banbridge. ![]() Man, this car boosts like crazy! I took her for a hoke and it drives so much differently to my newage WRX PPP. Really comfortable to sit in despite the cage! Will get some better pics, but I was still shaking from the run when I took this lol! |

Good man, Stu! I've just trawled up Simon's old thread about his car. Jimmy is a complete techophobe and doubt he will get himself on here, but I will try! Car is an absolute stunner and a real credit to Simon. I effing love it and am already looking at selling up my other three 'project' cars to see if I can replace them with this! LOL! |

She's a 2.5 with HKS Fcon pro which would explain the torque. Mint mint car that I had the pleasure of importing.

I do love type R's, and that one is perticularly pretty, I have never had the opertunity to own one! If I ever destroy my track car, I'll get a type R, they are loads of great special edition scoobies, But it's hard to beat the type r for value for money performance! love 'em!! Dan |

I'm happy to see the cars still around and looking great Lost the contact number for new owner and often wondered how he was getting on with it! I think he was planing on doing a few trackdays with it. The best Impreza I've owned, ask him if he'd ever consider selling it |

Yeah but a good 310bhp classic would give you a run for your money lol. Im sure you know that your old car would be a fair bit quicker Stefan

| Yeah man! I'm amazed how quickly she boosts too - just have to keep feeding it gears! Very very nice car to drive as well and goes from Jekyll to Hyde in an instant!
