    Default OS remap thread

As mentioned in another thread (created new thread so its not going to hijack JTS Daves) OS mapping. I know Dunc over on the mainland on scoobynet does it. Does anyone over here deliver these services?

nb, this is not a baiting nor request for slanging thread. Please only answer the question asked as I know a few are highly strung on here! haha.
I know ECUTEK etc are the commercial recommendations, I want to hear about Open Source.

As far as i can tell its hugely DIY orientated , have read and dreamed about it but have yet to get the chance to have a play as i had a classic.

I have the tactrix lead for my 03 but I'm a bit wary of writing my own map. Could be expensive if I get it wrong. Biggest prob with USA sites is all the basic generic maps are there for certain mods but they done on 91 ron and low grade fuel. If there where a few basic super or 95 maps available I would consider giving it a go. You can run datalogging while driving the car to check the map after and make futher adjustments

I have done some basic logging and boost/timing adjustments on my old Cupra but then again Revo made that easy.
Not so sure I would be so confident tweaking my own ecu.

Anybody here is welcome to use my lead and software. I know how to flash maps and back up original maps with it already. So changing it back isn't a prob. Up to you if you wanna risk det and engine damage!! Lol

Ive got a normal recent OBD2 cable, I assume the tactrix cable contains something a little spicier than mine?
