    Default Spec c for M3

Would i be nuts to consider trading the scooby in on an E46 M3
would be interested to hear comments on the m3 from folk whom have owned/been in one.

What would my spec c fetch these days if sold privately??

    Cheers,

    Nick.

Never owned an M3 but a drove an E46 M3 when i was thinking of changing, also drove an RS4 however the scoob is in the garage.

Nic i know what you payed for that car you wont get close to that with the current market. Keep it i think you would regret a move.

Scoobs are easy to worked round, I have an X5 and believe me although a great motor they are a nightmare to even do a regular service on.

Cheers Brian, i thought any car was easier to fiddle at compared to a subaru, have they less room to access parts or just plain akward to do anything with them?

I was going to look at an E46 M3 next week and have been reading up on what to look out for, the recent rear subframe failure has put me off a bit,

just a quick eg, on an X5 it takes approx 1.5 to 2 hours just to change a diesel 3.0 air filter.
