    Default Freeview recorders - anyone use one ?

    So how can it record one channel while u watch another ? Does it have 2 recievers ?

    My mum needs something to "tape" her shows lol , yes she still uses VHS . I have Sky+ so have no knowledge on freview.

    Works on the same principle as sky+ If you have a sky dish you can get free sat which will require a double or quad LNB for watching and recording but in freeview I am not sure if you need two RF inputs to watch and record.

    My ntl one will record one onto its hard drive when I'm watching another and you always have catch up

    Have had a twin tuner humax 9200 PVR for a few years on freeview, great item. Just one coax in, splits inside the box.

    Yeah humax are maybe the best, very very good boxes, I have the freesat one
