Where is the best place to get a remap done!?? Is it safe?? Mine only has 6000 miles on it so dont want to just leave it to anybody!!
I believe that Michael White Oma is the man but he sends the ecu over to powerstation in England to get it remapped!! He does Simtek?? Anybody tried this?

    Cheers Chris

never heard of oma sending an ecu off? The cars are mapped live so shipping one off would be pointless?

OMA can supply you with a Simtec ECU and map it to suit in-car. No sending away ECU's or anything

    Yes I know they do........

His point was that OMA can't do remaps unless they're simtec and quite possibly send them off for I presume a generic map?

And judging by the £1050+VAT comments, I doubt he wants simtec in the first place.

Were does he state that he doubts he wants Simtec in the first place mate?

Is he not enquiring about Simtec in his first post as stated above??

Only trying to offer help here to what he asked about, it doesnt make any difference to me where he goes to get the car mapped

Decent price there john. What is the software?Oma does other ecu's not just simtek but NONE are sent anywhere. If u want to push over 450 then I'd say simtek, if not then ECUTek.
