Default Newbie to the Site and New to Subaru

    Hi All

Just purchased my first Subaru Impreza WRX-STI Type UK (2003). I have always loved them especially the Blobeye shape. I’m at the age now where insurance is kind of cheap so i thought why not. I bought it with a few upgrade and they are as follows.

    Walbro Fuel Pump
    Baileys Dump Valve
Custom Exhaust (im not to fond off)
    Custom Remap

Around the time i was told the car was sitting roughly 300bhp which i couldn’t be sure it is so i plan to get it on the rolling road sometime next week to see where I’m at. The car definitely pulls well though every gear but that can be said about any wrx-sti. I plan to upgrade the car to a very high standard over the next year. I also love the colour (18L) which i believe is peal black so black with gold metallic through it.

    Photos soon to follow.

Here is a picture from Sunday after a wash and Polish. Just run one coat of Autoglym Super resin over it. Came up surprising well.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys.

I Hope to have alot more pictures of the car this weekend.

I am really happy with the performance of the car at the minute so i will leave the well alone. I would like a nice exhaust system installed but not sure on what to go for? So any help there would be great. I Plan to replace the front brake discs and pads very soon. Im getting some feedback through the steering wheel when under brakeing. My plans are to have the car sitting 100%

A guy i work with is a professional Photographer, hes a complete petrol junkie and asked could he do a photo shoot on my car. I was happy enough. I spent a good 5-6 hours cleaning the car then we hit the road. We took the coastal route heading out to cushendal and found a place to take a few pics. Below is a sample pictue. More to come.
