you might find just adding an amp to those components later would add a lot more sound from them, at 90watts RMS and 270watts peak they will be barely moved by your headunits 50/55watt output.

I see on the halfords site they also have FLi FL6 components on offer for £36.99 - 85w RMS and a similar spec though a little fatter - if tony is making you some spacers it shouldn't be an issue:

    • Separate tweeter with multi-position fixings for easy installation and improved sound stage
    • Butyl rubber surround delivers improved low frequency response, PEI tweeter and midrange deliver outstanding high frequency response.
    • Size: 6.5 inch (165mm)
    • 255 Watts Peak Power. 85 Watts RMS
    • Frequency Response: 50Hz- 20 KHz. Mounting Depth: 57mm Mounting Diameter 144mm

Sre the focal better or worse and what price approx?

Which do you recommend for the rear and are you up for fitting them?
I intend to get the alpine D/D for a head unit and would like an underseat sub some day if the door speakers arent up to speed
Obviously I will get it done bit by bit when the dosh is available

Those are the ones i purchased. Sound great from the headunit only!
5 Minutes per door no sarcasm, quickest iv done yet.

The rears need adapters tho. Vibe also do 4". May aswell stick with the half decent stuff thats always on sale!

Google focal even for a laugh, highly overrated in my opinion, but great audio regardless.

See the reason i suggested Vibe from the beginning was because naturally they are a very bassy speaker. All down to personal taste after all!

Heres one of my custom builds a longgggg time ago. 6 x 6x9s. 5xSubwoofers & 5 Amps with 2 power caps supporting them. Thing would break your spine:
