The two Kick Energy rally drivers, Peter Horsey and Alex Horsey, have declared themselves ready and raring to go ahead of this weekends KCB Safari Rally after completing the pre-event reconnaissance for this world famous event. The drivers will compete in this, the fourth round of the FIA African Rally Championship, aboard a pair of International specification Mitsubishi Group N rally cars.



Peter, who missed the last round of the KCB Kenyan National Rally Championship with an injured hand, will have Piers Daykin calling the notes for this rally. Piers has a wealth of experience and won the event last year co-driving for Lee Rose. Alex will resume his partnership with Frank Gitau and will be aiming high after a career best result of third overall in Eldoret on the debut of their Mitsubishi Evo X last time out.



The Kick Energy team will be putting in appearances throughout Nairobi in the week leading up to the rally with the rally team on display at both the new Galleria Mall in Langata (Wednesday) and at Gipsy Bar in Westlands (Thursday) prior to taking the ceremonial start at the KICC on Friday.
