Head out of Banbrdige towards Gilford. When you get to Lawrencetown (just past the garage on the right hand side) there's a road up to the left. 50 yards along the road there's a church on the right. turn right there and follow that road till you reach the paddock.

Watching from the start line not too exciting. If you google map drumhorc road you will see a few other roads leading on to the hill climb course which will give you better viewing points. Hill runs on to Kernan Road

Great day at the Drumhorc hill climb and a very close fight for the top salon spot between the yellow subaru Ivan's mighty GTR and the Master himself Davie Francis in the RWD Cosworth Escort every run there was a new leader. Sadly the GTR hit trouble on the first timed run and the put him out for the rest of the day......Ian was fastest after P1 mark after T1 and on my last run managed to put in a 56.15 over 3.5 sec quicker than my last best time of 59.85.... Not forgetting David Hunter in the wagon putting in his best ever time on the hill..... final results
    ian 3rd overall
    david Francis 4th
    mark 5 th

Great day out. Event ran really well and the Lankeys were flying. The gap between the open wheeled cars and saloons is narrowing and no doubt Lankey (senior) has an overall victory in his sights!!!

Sorry for Ivan in the big black GTR which misbehaved a bit (takes the joy out of the class victory a bit), hoping things are back to normal service soon.

Wagon felt brilliant from the first run, and 1.5 secs quicker than previous best without any work done made me smile. Big thanks, as always, to Michael and Neil at OMA. The car was faultless.
