Most good boost controllers come with a Solenoid as part of the kit. Im a fan of the Apexi AVCR, great bit of kit and very user friendly compared to others.

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Your standard ECU has its limits on boost, if you dont require more than 1.6 bar then a 3 port will work fine. Providing you have a turbo that can take 1.6bar that is.

I have a blitz sbc boost controller, just need to get the solenoid. Just thaught i may need the 3 port boost sol. aswell, found one pretty cheap (alot cheaper than the sol. for the blitz)

Yes a HDI 3 port or similar will be cheaper, i think you need the specific blitz one for the SBC to work Oish

Yep, 83stg plus delivery from blitz for the single which does to 1.3bar, 220stg for the dual that does up to 2.5bar. Think the single will do nicely.

Oish, why would you want to limit your car to 1.3 bar? VF30 will handle 1.5 bar safely, you would be better off binning the SBC and just fitting a HDI 3 port tbh mate to achieve 1.5bar. No point in detuning the car.

If you are getting a remap bin the SBC and fit a HDI 3port, many cars on here running them with good results. What you are doing is a backwards step mate.

At the mo its boosting at 1.0bar, if I get the 3port will that stabilise the boost aswell as raising the boost aswell? So i have no need for a boost controller?

    Is this what im after
    3 port boost

You dont need a boost controller! If you are getting a remap be it OS or Ecutek 3 port is the job.

It will stabilise it and increase once mapped, boosting low for an STI that is supposed to be mapped already.

There is a silly bleed valve in it, i just dont know enough about them things to go messing about with it so I just leave it as is.

If you can get down next week oish i will remove it and Ecutek DD run to see if any problems are going on with the boost.
