got a bailys dump valve,not making any sounds?

hi all got a bailys dump valve fitted at juction one,sunday.
car seems to be running on the button,but not getting the whosss sound in any rev,dont want to kill the car.
any ideas to amend this.
dont think there anything wrong with the dump valve itself,can they be adjusted as i running only 1.6 turbo

have you connected the small vac hose to the valve ?

Yep its connected alright,but still not giving out the Whoos?
can i take this off and clean it out maybe there dirt or a small blockage in it!
or can i adjust the valve its self?

They can be adjusted / cleaned make sure the vac pipe isnt kinked

hi ken, there should,nt be any problems with the valve itself. it was working perfect on my car,, i only took it of because i bought a bigger one when me and (fifty) were up at mckeevers one day,,,,

could it be a stronger spring fitted to it or something,,
if there is a fault with it , i have 2 other dump valves, we can get it sorted out mate

might just have washers under the spring to increase the tension

Tried to move spring wont move!unsure of how to loosen it,so if there any way i could change it,i really appreicate it,

dont expect 2 much noise from a baileys mate, I have the dv12 fitted and they need at least 3k rpm to make a sound.

had 1 of those bailys aswel and theres times it made a noise and times it didnt but if u put greese on the gaps were it vents to the atmosphere it wil work perfect i ended up geting rid of it and bought a hks ssqv and its 10 times better
