No such thing as recommended tyre pressure. It's to do with your vehicle weights and balance. My golf tyres same size run at 36psi all round where as I found all my scoobs with 225/40/18 run at about 31/32 all round better.
    Will there be a no.5 ?

If I can remember rightly the normal tyre size on a factory fitted 18inch in the hatch is 245/40r18

For a 225 width and a Toyo with it being a soft compound I would recommend 33 psi in the front and 32psi in the rear

34/32 is a good starting point Davey, you pressures should be checked & adjusted on a regular basis in order to achieve even tyre wear.

Play with the pressure until you find the right settings for you.

I know who you are now lol hows it going you all mapped and finished up. Bishops court is on this weekend get it up there.

I ran goodyear F1 at a time and found 20psi all round was the best pressure for grip and stability

Drag tyres- are they proper wrinkles or just a slick
My Toyo R888- I changed the pressure all the time depending how warm it was. But found about 20psi in the front and 15 psi at the rear worked well most of the time. The reason for the lower pressure on the rear I found with my car they tend to spin the back wheels up more. So they needed more grip.
But as I said before play about with them. Feel where you are losing the traction the most and adjust the pressures accordingly
