a good puzzle lol
Well everyone, I was driving my 95 classic wrx the other day and she just quit and had to pull over and get a transporter home, went out to the mechanics and a turned out a fuse was at fault (fuel pump) or so it looked, but now it wont start without jump leads, and when it does it idles at 1500rpm and if I rev it to 2500 it takes a good few seconds to return to 1500rpm (normal 1100rpm) also I have a alcatek ecu and I can't change the maps to see if it on the low map after the battery was removed as it felt a good bit slower ?? cheers for any help

battery holding charge now got the motor out for a bit of a drive, driving ok but as soon as I put the clutch in the revs go back up (near 1600rpm)and you can feel it is under power, boost below 0.8 , and I still cant change maps with the throttle ? are all the throttle sensors on classics the same ?

Re: a good puzzle lol
As per pm your throttle position sensor is failed most likely.
No closed loop idle and no boost as ecu cannot see the throttle position so is defaultingJolly Green Monster Limited Full time mapper and Ecu Expert - EcuTek 99 to 2005, Ecutek including Racerom 2006 to 2013, ESL 93 to 96, Apexi, Motec, Autronic, Link, GEMs, Simtek, Solaris/Syvecs remaps
