Sti 7/8 intercooler onto classic?

Has anyone from the site done this conversion?
Reading up on Andy forrest's site and he reckons , The sti tmic my01 onwards is capable of over 450bhp with an appropriately sized turbo
Hardly any need for badgering your front end trying to fit a front mount then,although i do believe there's a bit of fabrication required to make it fit.
If all goes to plan with my type-r, I wouldn't mind doing this conversion along with AFP-20G turbo & matched injectors,coupled with my 2.5 it should make for a pretty rapid car
Anybody else ever consider the sti 7/8 tmic conversion on there classic?

there is a gd step by step guide on scoobynet. pics and all. it aint going to be a perfect match bit of bodging required.
