Its the two small seals that sit in their recesses where the brake fluid passes from one half/side of the calliper to the other. Any kit I've bought does include them tho. I used import parts on ebay and big red. I'll see if I have a pic.

Just go to a motor factors and get a set of multi sized o-rings, you may get a suitable o-ring for it

dont actually need to split the caliper to replace piston, seals and dust caps

if you were closer to belfast i have 2 here you could have had left over from a refurb i done

+1 for that, I didn't split mine when doing it though I imagine it might make cleaning them a hell of a lot easier.

I split mine as you can get right into the piston recesses and give them a good clean and see 360 degrees round it.

aye when I realised that I had only taken the top layer of dirt off and the layer that I thought was metal was actually YET MORE COMPACTED **** - that's when I decided to send them off as I needed the car back on the road sooner.

I found fitting the godspeed SS pistons and seal key transformed mine. I also polished up the caliper recesses to aid to the slippyness of the pistons.
