when bleeding each caliper pump the brake pedal then keep the pedal down then get someone to open the bleed nipple and ul see the air coming out, keep doing this till each caliper has no air in it also keep a eye on the fluid level, hope this helps

There should be way u have done this but I have to ask, did u clamp the flexi pipes so all your brake didn't run out?

R u getting fluid out of the nipple when opened?
As hammy says, start @ nsr, give pedal a few pumps and hold down then have someone else loosen the nips, continue this until the fluid comes out in a smooth flow I.e no air. Then move onto the next 1.

do you know how to bleed brakes ?? As so far everyone has forgot one very important bit.

close the nipple before you let your foot off the pedal.

And its easy to stop fluid loss when working without clamping any hoses.

And finally...you have put the calipers back on correctly ? Ive heard of guys before putting them on upside down...silly..but true

to add....if the system was totally emptied, which is never a smart thing to do. You may need to pressure bleed to get the fluid through, or use a vacuum pump to suck it through.

Or if lucky, just leave the nipples open and allow gravity to do the work, although that doesnt always work with ABS systems.

I think that would cover the nipples being tight before pumping the pedal Stevie.

what may be obvious to some....may be completely alien and baffling to others.

The last person I heard fitting th calipers upside down, was a "tuning shop" who fitted a performance set of calpers to a car, and put over 3 litres of fluid through trying to bleed them.

Whilst that place isnt around anymore....those same people do still attempt to work at cars in other places.

    Scary, isnt it ?

So if trying to give people advice...often it needs to be literally step by step, missing no important steps.

I have also seen the Brembos fitted upside, done by a big company also! Although apparently his brakes worked spot on!
