Default My Hawkeye after a cleaning session ...

As the sun shone on Sunday I not only washed the cars but got out the Navviwax and Autosol. Just need to get some time to apply the old Rimwax now and I will be happy.
I fired photos into a PDF and hope the attachment is viewable ok!!!

Cheers Davey. I should thank Big Red T for looking after this one so well! I am really impressed with Navviwax. Its the easiest wax to put on and get off that I have ever used. It beads really well and i think it covers minor swirl marks really well. I love the fact that there is next to no dusty residue created when you buff it off and it doesnt matter if it gets on the glass, or rubbers or black plastics. I previously used Megs and Collinite and I think this is by far the best. I can do a quick wax on the car in under an hour if I am pushed. It gives a nice slippery finish to the touch too. The other thing I plpan to do to the car when the temperature improves a bit is to use Supagard polymer sealant on it. The impregnated pads are selling on ebay for under £5. I bought a kit off ebay last year. It came boxed as Mercedes polymer sealant treatment but inside it was Supagard. I put it on the jeep and it gives excellent protection - makes it easy to wash and makes waxing even easier. Basically I am a lazy git when it comes to wanting my cars to look clean for minimum effort!!!

Looks great Robert - great feeling when its all done

I'm a bit of a navi fan myself, but without sounding rude, its cos I'm a lazy git too lololol!!! I use it on everything bar the windscreen which I find can make the wipers smear a bit - rain-x on the window screen for me

Would be very interested to hear how the supaguard goes over the navi mate (i presume thats what you'll need to do?)

Cheers Shak. I plan to claybar the car to remove all the dirt and impurities and then apply the Supagard and then apply a couple of coats of wax over it. The supagard isn't bad to apply but it is much more temperature sensitive and has to sit on panels for 45-60 mins before being buffed off.

I use rain x on the front screen too. And occasionally Lidl sell a rain x type product for about £3 and I love it as it's easier to buff off the screen without leaving smears.

Nice one mate, I would love to see how much of a difference that makes, but I'd say it'll make the navi even easier to apply - WIN!!!!

Clayed mine nearly 2 years ago and washing it today I realised it needs done again. Your exhaust looks really well after the autosol, something else I need to do myself.

Lol Shak. You could probably treat your nuts with Autosol cream! And it would definitely help your pipe too. It removes tar spots as everything. I used a cheap toothbrush and an old cloth and it worked wonders. The temptation was not only to autosol the tail pipe and visible face of the back box but you start to think about doing the entire back box - I think that's verging on Obsessive Car Detailing!

His loss was my gain Jim and I understand it was a close thing as he was in Eastwoods just a couple of hours after me on that fateful day. I am glad I took the run out from work that lunchtime or I would not have been so lucky!

Haha no need to rub it in boys, I don't get emotionally attached to them lol. Still looking stunning Robert , nice to see them minted up again as the weather lifts a bit.
    Will there be a no.5 ?
