That's a lovely looking derv burner Edd. 210 bhp and 300+ torques would be a sharp going machine. I bet it surprises a lot of people though not as much as Ole Red - it truly is a wolf in Sheeps clothing

I might not be a Golf owner for much longer as I'm hankering after a Leon FR, but if Ed was looking shot of this one I could be tempted to stay in the Golf camp.

Mint lookin mk4 Ed but I wouldn't expect any less from you.

Iv a mk4 gttdi 115bhp highline but shes in a sorry state at the minute. Owned it for a few years and it just seamed to fall apart, especially the interior bits. Not impressed. Fed up of sensors going for retarded reasons. Dont think il have another tbh. Il stick with jap cars for now.

I've had around 5 of these now all GT TDI's and the 115 I had for years, never a problem with it or the rest of them
    Great cars .

The one to have is the 1.9 150PD

Iv heard good things about the pd engines. Mine is not pd. Although the same silly sensor problems are present with them also if not worse. Good engines in the vw, never had a problem with the engine until it decided to lay down for no apparent reason. Goina buy a new car but might keep the wee golf, fix the engine problem (probly a f00kin sensor) then do a conversion for a bigger lump. Just for a larf
